Business Development Executive – Wanted!

Bubblegum Search, a specialist Digital PR and SEO agency, is seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to help expand our client base across London, Surrey, and Southeast England. We are experts in delivering Digital PR campaigns that follow our unique 8-step process, designed to help ambitious brands scale up. In addition to Digital PR, we also offer SEO services, so knowledge of both is essential for this role.

Our hybrid work model combines the flexibility of remote work with the benefits of in-person collaboration. You will be required to spend a minimum of three days a week in the office to work closely with the sales and marketing teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive new business opportunities by selling our core Digital PR services and campaigns, specifically to ambitious brands looking to scale.
  • Educate prospects on the value of our 8-step Digital PR process and the added benefits of our SEO services.
  • Proactively identify and engage with potential clients across London, Surrey, and Southeast England.
  • Qualify inbound leads, ensuring a smooth journey through the sales pipeline.
  • Make outbound calls and follow up on leads, ensuring consistent engagement.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets through strategic prospecting, relationship building, and closing deals.
  • Prepare and present persuasive sales proposals to prospective clients.
  • Maintain a high SQL (Sales Qualified Lead) to client conversion rate through exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Keep track of sales activities and report progress to management regularly.
  • Stay updated on industry trends in Digital PR and SEO to ensure Bubblegum Search maintains its competitive edge.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition from sales to service delivery.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in digital marketing, or a proven track record of selling high-ticket products in the B2B space.
  • Strong knowledge of Digital PR and SEO services.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to clients.
  • Confidence in producing sales decks and proposals.
  • Experience pitching in front of clients both in person and over video calls.
  • A self-starter with the ability to independently manage your sales pipeline.
  • Experience working with ambitious brands and a passion for helping businesses grow.
  • Knowledge of the SME market across London, Surrey, and Southeast England.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a collaborative team player.
  • Organisational and time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently.
  • A creative problem solver who can find solutions for clients’ needs.

Benefits:

  • Base salary of £30,000 – £40,000 DOE + commission on sales, with an OTE of £50,000.
